Allgeier Engineering supports social IT engagement with laptop donation
Sustainability and social responsibility often manifest themselves in very specific projects. Allgeier Engineering has donated a total of 45 disused laptops to a former colleague who volunteers for the “Refurbish for Refugees” project.
He carefully checks the devices, refurbishes them technically, and makes them ready for use again. They are then passed on via Bellevue di Monaco, a well-known residential and cultural center in Munich, to people who urgently need access to digital equipment – for example, for education, communication, or career prospects.
With this donation, Allgeier Engineering is not only extending the life cycle of functional hardware, but also contributing to greater digital participation. The project shows how technical expertise, personal commitment, and social initiatives can be meaningfully intertwined.
We are delighted to support this project and would like to thank everyone involved for their commitment. Initiatives like this demonstrate how much impact joint action can have—locally, practically, and sustainably.
